Yoga Retreat in Tuscany

20th – 26th September 2025

“A yoga retreat to truly relax and be yourself in”

An immersion in a rural paradise to nourish your body, mind and spirit.

Daily yoga classes, homemade tuscan food, some of the best wines in the world.

Excursions to explore the area, Yoga Workshops to deepen your practise.

A deep dive into local produce.

Free time to relax, walk in nature, spend time by the pool socialising or immerse yourself in a good book in the garden or chill by the pool.

This will be my fourth time hosting a retreat at Antico Borgo Tignano and I couldn’t be more excited to return to this magical place!

The retreat venue:

Antico Borgo Tignano is recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site focusing on Tuscan traditions.

A rural complex dating back to the early 1600s, offers 13 luxury apartments, a restaurant, a shop selling fine wines, Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, pecorino cheese and souvenirs; a library, and a large swimming pool 8 x 16 meters.

The houses of the village have been completely renovated with lush gardens, which with its texture of herbs, bushes of juniper, myrtle and mastic shows the typical varieties found in the Mediterranean region, with its intense fragrance.

Located in the heart of Tuscany, Antico Borgo Tignano is 20km from Volterra, 45km from Siena.

Yoga:

Through the practices of both dynamic yoga to strengthen and stabilise muscles, restorative yoga to nourish and recover and yoga nidra to restore you deeply, you will feel renewed in a way that only a yoga retreat can do.

It isn’t necessary to have had a long experience of practising yoga, but it would be helpful to have already begun a regular yoga practice prior to coming on the retreat. You would want to have the right intention to learn and commitment to explore dynamic and restorative practices.

You are free to take part in all or just some of the classes and workshop.

Travelling to the venue:

The venue will be ready to welcome us on Saturday 20th September at dinner time. As we arrive at the venue,  we will enjoy a delicious welcome dinner, check in to our rooms for a night of rest and meet in the morning for our silent walk, followed by first practise and opening circle.

On Friday 26th September we will close the retreat in the afternoon and leave the venue at around 4pm.

I will be travelling from London on the following British Airways flights:

  • BA 0606 London Heathrow to Pisa 15.55 Saturday 20h September
  • BA 0607 Pisa to London Heathrow 20.10 on Friday 26th September

There will be a private bus waiting as we land, to transfer to the retreat venue. And equally on the way back, the bus will take us to Pisa airport to catch the flight back.

If you won’t be travelling on these flights, please inform me and I can help sorting out the necessary travel arrangements.
